Towing

Towing sailplane involves a few settings:

Towing articles

At least one article with the type set as "Towing", "Unit" set to minutes.

Aircraft set as towing aircraft

The towing aircraft must have the flag "Can Tow".

Members with the right towing

A role with the right "Towing Pilot" must be defined and given to the towing pilots.

Towing Workflow

Once everything is set, the workflow is the following:

1. The sailplane pilot registers a departure with a future time / date (precise time is not needed)
2. The towing pilot using the towing page sees all the registered towing requests, pick the one needed and press start after having controlled that the aircraft counter is correct.
3. The towing pilot adjust the time and press stop

At that point, the billing of the towing is done and the sailplane departure is adjusted to the start of the towing.
