Price Validity

As prices can change at any point, and ideally you should be able to say before the end of March that the 1st April a new pricing must be used, the system understand the concept of price validity.

To use it, in the "Setup" => "Articles" a drop down is available, letting you choose a given price validity or create a new one. Click on it then select "-- New Price Validity --"

The validity form appears like that:

Provide a name like "April 2025" and then enter the "Valid From" date (the "Valid" To can be left empty).

Return to the "Setup" => "Articles" and now choose the newly created price validity. Edit the article you want to have with a new price. Set the new price and save.

If you switch to the base price, you will see that the article price changes back to the base price, or any other price validity price you choose.
