Setup

Please ensure you followed our setup:

VAT Accounts

The software supports multiple companies within the same setup. To handle this, the first step is to setup the company in the VAT Account page.

For each company a VAT account is required.

Account Plans

To be able to correctly pass the information to the accounting software the system must have a correct Account Plan. The default "transfer" account is registered on the VAT Account. Therefore once the account plan is setup remember to register the main debtor account.

VAT Types

As the VAT % depends on the type of operation, multiple VAT Types must be registered. A Vat type is linked to a VAT account (a company).

Catalog

The top level configuration for the pricing. A catalog is not company dependent, but may allow to enable or disable a set of articles.

Articles

To be able to charge customers for services or materials an Article must be defined. An article has a default price, account plan and VAT Type. However those may be overrided in a few cases.

Pricing

The system has mainly 2 different types of prices handling. Automatic price handling due to constraints like aircraft noise categories, or fixed prices set at the article level.

Aircraft pricing

For aircraft renting price, the system understand the link between the aircraft category, and the membership a customer is part of. Define first the memberships (and specify the type of membership as "Aircraft"), then you may define the aircraft categories. The link an aircraft to an aircraft category is directly define in the fleet pricing page.

For each price (aircraft category / membership) you may define / assign one or more articles. For example rental price & fuel overprice. If you want to use a price only if the member has a given membership, create an additional article for the special rule, and use the "Supersede" field to specify which article it replaces.

Landing pricing

The landing prices are defined using a noise category and an aircraft weight category. Both can directly be edited on the landing prices.

Again it is possible to have special prices in case your customer is member of a given membership. To do so, use the "Supersede" field.

Flight Activity types

The price & VAT may depend on the kind of flight activity like schooling. Therefore an article is not directly used in case of rental or landing, instead the flight activity makes the link between the article and the flight type.

Instruction Types

Depending on the kind of instruction a different pricing may be applied. To be able to handle this, the Instruction Types page allows to define an article for a given instruction type.
